The NECT and DBE with funding from the ETDP SETA are embarking on an intensive programme to develop and improve the teaching of reading in the Foundation Phase in 1670 schools across the country.
The EFAL Subject Advisors from all provinces are gathered at the St Georges Hotel in Irene to participate in this first EFAL training workshop for the programme. Subject Advisors are critical agents of change at local level at improving district and school performance.
